I had been learning auto body repair at the base auto shop. Kinda fell into my similiar work at the sheet metal shop at the hangar fixing bodies of helicopters. And what better way to learn but on your own car!
My driver side front fender all fixed. A buddy of mine posing. What was his name? Roger? He later moved off base a married a Korean girl he brought over from Korea. She was a doll.
My neighbor "Red" was always good for advice. He was a Sgt. so we kinda listened to him more.

Always under the car. I think I liked it a lot better back then.
Red was practicing repelling from the barracks balcony. He was always up to something. He built a hang glider - don't ever remember if he flew it.
