    Hello!
... This Steve Garson, owner of Garson Design Services. This holiday season I decided to do a website after I realized there was not any one place to find good Holiday information.

This is a start and work in progress, I'll be continously updating...so continue to come back and also during next years season.

Best procedure is to verify/call/go to noted event website for further information as it can change without notice.

I ENCOURAGE emailing me any outside info and input to keep information up to date.

Shadi Christmas Display

944 Arlington Ave. MAP
(12/86 - 12/02)
I remember this incredible place ever since I was young growing up in Kensington.

Shadi web page with more info and photos

The famous Christmas display by Sundar Shadi that marked the holiday for years in El Cerrito is back, thanks to the El Cerrito Soroptomists. The display is being shown from December 13th through the 26th, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the hillside on Moeser Lane near Arlington Boulevard. Since 1949, Mr. Sundar Shadi had displayed upon his hillside a scene of Bethlehem from a distance, with shepherds and sheep in the foreground. The display included more than 120 handcrafted figures and drew thousands of onlookers each winter for five decades. Mr. Shadi passed away earlier this year at the age of 101.
