Subject:
Peddlers Fair and Sidewalk Sale

On Saturday, June 15, 2002, from 10am until 5pm, the Fairfield Downtown Association will host a Peddlers Fair and Spring Sidewalk Sale.

Following the premise that "one person's junk is another person's treasure", the event will feature an almost limitless assortment of antiques and collectibles. Donald Grover of Suisun will be on hand with his antique bottles, Chinese pottery and Indian artifacts. Handcrafted items including silk flowers, jewelry and sculpture will be displayed, with Gladys Payta of Tracy bringing bamboo necklaces and earrings. Lisa Clark will bring her business, Toe-Rific Jewels, from Moss Beach and will sell her unique rings. Patrick and Elizabeth Novello, representing their business, The Country Baker, in Davis will bring their selection of artisan breads and baked goods.

Live, free musical entertainment will be provided by Bob and Sharon, playing classic country music and Souled Out, mixing Motown and blues for our enjoyment.

Free kids arts and crafts activities will be offered, giving the kids a chance to make Dad a handsome Father's Day Gift while the parents enjoy a frosty Bahama Juice "strawberry lemonade". Shave ice, kettle corn and barbeque will also be in great supply. Downtown restaurants will offer special lunch deals for the enjoyment of the hungry crowd.

To top it off, Downtown retailers will offer a wide range of sidewalk sales. Single day sales and discounts will be offered at The Family Attic, Second Time Around, Napadashery, Gordon's Music and Sound, Stamp Heaven, Goodwill, I Feel Good Superstore Outlet and many others.
