Originally from Wisconsin, Doug
settled in Vacaville after living in Phoenix, Los Angeles,
Seattle and Southern Oregon. This intentional decision
was made after assessing the excellent prospects for Solano
County’s future.
Doug joined Gaw Van Male after several years of conducting
his own private practice in Grants Pass, Oregon, since 1999,
and in Vacaville since 2004. He especially valued the
direct personal contact and diversity of subjects he faced
in his own practice. His experience includes business
law, corporate law, estate planning, probate, conservatorships,
foreclosures, taxation, real estate, bankruptcy, contracts
and litigation. .

In his spare time, Doug plays golf
and tennis, runs, and enjoys softball, basketball, and football. From
Wisconsin, he’s an avid Packers’ fan. To
get away from it all, he takes his Jeep on adventures in
the mountains, and thrives on being outdoors.
