With an MBA from UC Berkeley, Scott joined the tax department of a Big-8 accounting firm in San Francisco before turning to the practice of law.  He shared his depth of knowledge in business and real estate matters during eight years of teaching business law at the University of Redlands.

Scott is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law, designated by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.  He has lectured on the topic of trust administration to various groups, including the Continuing Education of the Bar and the Southern California Tax and Estate Planning Forum.

Before relocating to the North Bay and joining Gaw Van Male as a senior attorney and shareholder, Scott was a senior partner in a firm in Redlands, California, for fourteen years.

Scott has been selected as a Northern California Super Lawyer for 2008, 2006 and 2005.  His practice focuses on business, corporate, succession planning, tax, estate planning, and trust administration.
